Pattern Sizing: I cut a 6

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? I guess so, I read them two years ago when I first made this, didn’t need to read them this time.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I don’t dislike anything

Fabric Used: Corduroy & Wool Contrast

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? No this is my second one so I will not be sewing this anymore.

Conclusion: I love this coat but now the pattern is retired.

  1. Great fabric choice! Superb technique (as always). I'd like to know your thought process for leaving off the button on the collar. Did you omit it on your first garment, too? This is a cute pattern; the embellishment on the pattern's bodice back draws me to it. (I agree that yours didn't need it.) I'm sure it looks really good on you! Kudos!
